Storytelling with Pictures
After years of illustrating for educational books, I turned my focus toward the magical world of storytelling. Using illustration to bring a narrative to life is an incredible creative process—one that is constantly challenging but deeply rewarding, especially when you finally see the finished book in print. For me, children’s book illustration is about more than just drawing pictures; it is about creating a visual language that helps children explore big emotions, sparks their imaginations, and builds comforting spaces where they feel safe to dream and discover.

Ozzy & Pi
After many years of thinking about publishing my own children’s book I finally got stuck in and authored and illustrated my first picture book! It was such a wonderful journey – illustrating pages of storytelling moments, and finally seeing it in print!
The book follows the adventures of the endearing little pug called Ozzy and his buddy and sidekick Pi, the wise little penguin. My book characters were inspired by my real-life pug, Ozzy, who continues to entertain and amuse me every day with his antics. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this book and look forward to publishing a full series of Ozzy’s crazy antics! Additionally, I have a flurry of characters and stories in my head, all of them waiting to burst onto the pages of some new books, so keep watching this space! There’s a whole lot more to come…
Ozzy and Pi’s Adventure in the Jungle is available on Amazon UK in paperback and eBook format.
